Welcome to the Stylists “How To”. Simply create your Mobile Salon Listing to get clients booking you directly.
Stylists who prefer to choose their hours and visit their clients at home will benefit from direct bookings on our mobile and smartphone platforms.
Simply apply on the platform as a Stylist by clicking the orange “Sign In” orange button top right. Then click Register, then Stylist (right button) and we will be in touch.
Our platform is open to all mobile hairdressers and stylists of all levels who prefer to cut hair at the client’s home; celebrity stylists, all NVQ level stylists, hairdressers, barbers, family hairdressers, children’s hairdressers, men’s hairstylists (beard shave and trim), women’s hairstylists and students.
Please let us know your qualifications on application in the about section at registration and include any website or social media you currently maintain. Be brief as we will be in touch personally.
Once approved you can create your Mobile Styling Salon page with images, qualifications, skills, about you, calendar availability, services and prices.
Simply click on the “Add Mobile Services” top right when logged in and create your page with calendar availibility, time slots and portfolio.
Use your Salon to share your skills, tips and advice and a portfolio of your work that works to promote you and take bookings from new and established clients in your area. Reduce your travel time dramatically and earn more.
Select your work area in the Salon page by moving the orange map marker to your area. Clients can then search for you by proximity as well as pricing, skills, and availability.
Clients will be able to see your marker on a map, so please put the marker near your home at the beginning of your street if you don’t wish to reveal your exact address. The marker is for you to indicate the area you work in and reduce your travel time to clients.
Clients can search for stylists and hairdressers by proximity to their homes or office. They can select the distance setting to any distance they like, within a mile to many miles and see all the stylists in their area.
The platform map will show all the Mobile Salon Stylists near to the client. They can then click on any of these and see the stylist’s portfolio, images, skills and services (colouring, family haircuts etc).
Clients can book directly by clicking on an available time slot and date, then paying directly online.
Once booked you will receive an email and a notification on your phone and you can accept or rearrange the booking through the internal messaging system.
Once a booking is confirmed that time slot will show up as unavailable and clients will be able to see your availability online or offline on their smartphone.
We take care of finding you clients and work, marketing your services and the admin. You take care of the clients and style their hair.
The platform will enable you to minimise the distance you travel to see clients as they can book stylists near them.
You can also work anywhere in the world. Once your Mobile Salon is set up you can drag and change the map marker in seconds.
So if you are going abroad for two weeks or many months and want to keep working, you simply move your map marker and your entire Salon will pop up as available for work in any country in the world.
No need to edit anything else. Your images, clients, skills and qualifications will all be there for clients to see. In one second you can be registered for work anywhere.
Take a month in Ibiza or New York and style and cut hair there. Your personal Mobile Salon will follow you digitally wherever you want to go.
Your Dashboard will show all your client calendar bookings and payments.
You can store client preferences so you always know exactly what they want. Plus clients can store their ideas and past haircuts so you can see exactly what they like.
Your payments for completed bookings are made every week, clients are given two days to let us know if not everything went to their satisfaction. If a client complains we will then liaise between you to resolve any issues.
Price your services in relation to the complexity, time and skills required. Please always aim for value to the client as this will guarantee more bookings. As you get more clients and your calendar becomes filled up, you can set your prices accordingly.
Only clients who have genuine bookings can rate your services and this will also increase your bookings.
If you do need to rearrange a time slot with a client please get in touch with them through the messaging system as soon as possible to minimise their inconvenience. Messages threads will enable you to keep track of your client communication and their preferences.
